ActiVibe is a pilot project in Birmingham to engage adults with learning disabilities to be active together doing various physical exercises and improve wellbeing. we’ve identified many young adults with learning disabilities at college transition age failing through the net with education and social activities. ActiVibe strives to be an reoccurring sessions in the community to bring some exciting experiences to them, such as boxercise, dance, adapted drumming, relaxation, general fitness, games etc.
We welcome everyone of different ages & needs to be in a safe environment & share similar life experiences. With regular sessions to cater for different timetable we can build more stable and positive relationships for better engagement.
Our aim is to enrich the daytime quality for vulnerable people and help build communication skills, confidence, transferable skills, reduce anxiety & isolation and ultimately they can fulfill their wish of finding employment in society.
